SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT WITH YOUTH
The Association For Environment and Youth Development(AFEYD) is a structure that fights against environmental degradation and issues concerning youth.It protects the environment and youth rights of a sustainable way because their situation comes in first by the campaigns and actions.We all must work together and corporate on an equal footing with fathers,mothers,teachers and youth.We must listen to what young people say and give them the opportunity to speak knowing that youth is the future of tomorrow.As an association of youth,we will remain the engine of campaigns and actions for environment and youth.We will continue to encourage everyone,everywhere in his own way and at their own place to do everything possible to help the environment and youth because every young person who comes into the world carries the hopes for humankind and without nature there is not life.Therefore the association has chosen the motto: "for every young person, a healthy and sustainable environment" because the sustainable development with environment and youth can change the world.

DEVELOPMENT
The youth is the guarantor of our future.A future that depends more than ever of our good actions because we have knowledges,resources and legal requirements that would enable at every young person to live in better conditions,in a healthy environment family offering love,care and support he needs to thrive fully.Therefore ,we must we citizens of all countries and members of families,of communities and various associations and varied to:commit to participate in the implantation of a GLOBAL NETWORK FOR YOUTH (GNY) for a sustainable development in order to:
- not to exclude any worldwide young person of all forms of discrimination,exclusion from its life situation.But receiving him with love for a worthy life.
-give priority to youth
-take care of youth
-fight against HIV/AIDS for youth
-listen and educate youth
-fight against poverty and end the exploitation of young people.
The GLOBAL NETWORK FOR YOUTH (GNY) will make exploits if one we put it in place.We AFEYD,we are already committed of the bottom of heart to defend the interests and rights of youth.You associations of the world,we expect your reactions to engage together this great project: program or network for youth.
II/- THE ISSUES CONCERNING YOUTH
The youth is the future of tomorrow.It is the hope of high generation of a country,of a city by the mind of creativity.But youth meet many difficulties to flourish.For example in CONGO Brazzaville,youth is the target of poverty by the lack of information,education,good health and employment.And in other countries around the world,the youth is affected by the violence,discrimination,drug...Thus,many young people do not realize their potential by fear and lack of education,good health,employment...despite the miracles of science,a whole generation is lost and the next.We will want to proclaim with all our strength that we must not squander live of our young people because it has lasted too long,we would have acted a long time for them.
Today AFEYD,is serving the youth,fighting for justice,protect the rights of young people and fighting for environment.AFEYD is contributing to satisfy the basic needs of young people and expand their choice.We urge all leaders who belong to government,civil societies organizations and private sectors to do likewise and join us to fight together for youth. Every young person reduced in silence by the poverty,disease,war,violence,discrimination... is a call to action for all NGO.The attention is also made to access of safety drinking water,good health eating,good sanitation and army conflicts protection.That is the goal of saving or lifesaving.
III/- THE YOUNG PEOPLE RIGHTS
It's important that young people participate fully in the process of peace,environmental protection,health ,education and human rights.We are asking to young people of everywhere to talk about rights they should have and we will lobby,we NGOs to the governments so that they take account of those views.Today young people's rights are violated by inhuman behavior,for example:my father has been visiting a son of a neighbor imprisoned at 17 years old for stealing a half bag of rice in a shop to the TOTAL Market here in CONGO Brazzaville.He said:<>.I did not know they put young people and adults in the same cell and you can imagine the abuse which were reserved their.Therefore,we say that juvenile offenders should be helped as we help each young person and not punished as adults.The Universal Declaration of Human Rights(UDHR) proclaimed and adopted by the General Assembly of United Nations on December 10th in 1948 is stating:<>.Here are some items of that Declaration.
-Article 1: All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in spirit of brotherhood.
Article 2: Everyone is entitles to all rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration without distinction of any kind such as race,color,sex,language,religion,political opinion or any other opinion,national or social origin,property,birth or other status.
Article 3: Everyone has the right to life,liberty and security of person.
Article 4: No person shall be held in slavery or servitude,slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.
Article 5: No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel,inhuman or degrading treatment.
Article 7: All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law.All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination.
Article 9: No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest,detention or exile.
Article 20: Every person has the right to freedom of assembly and peaceful association. No one may be compelled to belong to an association.
Article 25: Motherhood and childhood are entitled to assistance and special assistance. All children whether born in or out of wedlock ,shall enjoy the same social protection.
Article 26: Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free at least in elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education is compulsory. The technical and vocational education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basic of merit.
I hope that,you will ensure these few items of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
IV/-PROJECT
Following to the young people rights violated,
AFEYD has got a project to create a center for young people in difficult situations who are in streets and falling to life in crime,theft,drugs,fights,unemployment...
Note: The association is looking for partners or sponsors to help run this project.
In this project there are:
-a program of school education:giving to every young person a normal school for reading,writing and counting.
-a health program: ensuring the health of young people
- a program of sport,culture and good entertainments among young people.
- a peer support program: providing clothes,food...
-a training program for qualified employments: plumbing,metalworking,computer...
The members of association are available and volunteers to work in this project. Our goal is: providing an opportunity to youth in order to be free themselves from the yoke of poverty.
V/- AT THE LISTENING TO YOUNG PEOPLE
Adult persons must listen to us,we young people said the Coordinator and president of AFEYD.
listening to young people is important because we are also citizens, after all we shall be at the head one day of the world or of a country.We need the support of our communities and families to have peace and go to the sustainable development.We want to live in a world where every young person wants to have peace and be comfortable.There are many ways to reach but we are moving and the situation is changing because young people is working together with all NGOs,associations,programs,schools,projects and governments...for the well-being of populations.
As far as we are concerned,AFEYD is making its best to struggle against environmental degradation and issues related to youth.
